Jena Leigh Stubblefield is everything I’ve ever wanted in a bride and more than I ever thought I’d find. God has blessed my life by bringing Jena and me together, and I have spent the past five months in complete wonderment and bliss. As we get to know each other more and more, my love and respect for her only continues to grow.
If you haven’t had the honor of getting to know Jena yet, let me tell you how truly amazing this woman is. Jena is about to complete her BFA in Photography and fulfill a dream by starting her own business as a wedding photographer (JenaLeigh.com—bookmark it). A full-time student, Jena still finds time to work three jobs—as an associate photographer for Dale Wallace Photography, as a DJ for 107.5, and as an engraver for National Jewelry. As busy as she is, she still makes time for her friends, her family, and for me.
Jena is smart, creative, passionate, determined, confident, and caring. She’s willing to try new things (which is how we met), and she pushes herself to always do her best and to follow through. She’s traveled the world on vacation and on mission trips, and she’s always up for a new adventure. Jena is fun and funny and easy to talk to. She’s willing to put others before herself, and more than once I’ve seen her go out of her way to bring a smile to someone’s day. Most of all, she is patient. Especially with me. (God knows she needs to be.)
Jena has a wonderful family who loves her and cares about her very much, as she does them. They have been very gracious to me and have already made me feel a part of their family. They’ve had a big hand in helping her become the wonderful woman she is, and I’m grateful to them for all they’ve done for her and all they will continue to do for both of us.
It’s impossible to capture someone’s person and personality fully in just a few paragraphs. So, especially for those of you who know me, let me explain Jena this way: I love her. She has brought out the best in me.
